Hartford Public Library to Host 3rd Annual Books & Brews Event

Hartford Public Library (HPL) is hosting its 3rd Annual Books & Brews on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. at the Downtown Library, terrace and café.

Part of the Library’s Grand Reopening Week celebration, Books & Brews offers a relaxed evening of connection, conversation, and community. Guests will enjoy tasty eats prepared by the Kitchen at Futures Inc., a tasting from Brew Sponsor Urban Lodge Brewing, signature cocktails and mocktails by The Wini Bar, and live jazz under the tent by Matt Parker.

Experiences throughout the evening include literary games with chances to win prizes, puzzle tables, and “Date with a Book,” where guests can take home a surprise read.

More than a night out, Books & Brews supports Hartford Public Library’s mission to expand opportunity and access for all. HPL offers free programs and services - education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, arts and culture, and lifelong learning opportunities.

Books & Brews is proudly supported by Impact Partners MetroHartford Alliance and HYPE.
