New England Council Now Accepting Applications to Host a 2026 NEC Fellow

The New England Council is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications from non-profit organizations to host a 2026 New England Council Fellow.

The NEC Fellows Program was launched in 2025 in commemoration of the Council’s 100th anniversary. In the first year of the program, the Council selected six charitable non-profit organizations – one in each New England state – and provided each organization with $5,000 to support the hiring of a summer intern to support their charitable mission.

In 2026, the Council is doubling the number of NEC Fellows, and will select 12 organizations – two in each New England state – to host a NEC Fellow next summer. Once selected, the host organizations will have discretion to hire a summer fellow based on their needs.
