Hartford, Conn. (June 8, 2026) — On Tuesday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m., the Hartford Chamber of Commerce is hosting a press event on Pratt Street in Hartford, Connecticut to reveal its Pratt Street Watch Party series as part of the City of Hartford’s Summer of Soccer campaign. Beginning on Friday, June 12, soccer fans can gather on Pratt Street to watch a series of games during the World Cup on a large, outdoor screen.
As the United States is gearing up to host the World Cup, Hartford is uniquely positioned to be a central hub for millions of Connecticut residents and traveling global fans.
“Hartford is the place to be this summer for all World Cup fans,” noted Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam. “We are welcoming fans from near and far to celebrate in the City of Hartford at your favorite bars, restaurants, and social hubs, with Pratt Street hosting free watch parties for all USA games. Sports should be accessible to everyone, and we are working hard here in Hartford to make sure that every fan has access to a high-quality World Cup viewing experience.”
