The Hartford Hospital Auxiliary ‘Tees Up’ its 36th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser
A 36-year tradition of giving back will drive the future of patient and visitor transportation at Hartford Hospital, with tournament proceeds supporting new year-round golf carts and on-demand shuttle service.
The Hartford Hospital Auxiliary featured a day of golf, continuing a 36-year tradition of giving back to the hospital and the community.
The opening of the Jefferson Arrival Center in 2026 presents an exciting opportunity to centralize and elevate this experience. Valet services will transition to a modern arrival hub, supported by a new door‑to‑door shuttle service that enhances accessibility across campus.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament will specifically fund the purchase of advanced, street‑legal golf carts designed for year‑round use. Paired with a dedicated mobile app for on‑demand service, these enhancements will enable more efficient, comfortable, and direct transportation from arrival to destination, creating a smoother, more seamless journey for patients and visitors.
Valet services are a vital part of the Hartford Hospital experience, often serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and ensuring timely, welcoming access to care.
Each year, valet teams assist more than 180,000 vehicles, helping visitors navigate a complex campus with multiple entry points
Celebrating its 36th anniversary, the Hartford Hospital Auxiliary has generated nearly $4.5M over the years.
The proceeds have funded a wide variety of essential programs and services promoting the health and well-being of the community served by Hartford Hospital.
