Three of the health system’s hospitals ranked on the 2026 Top Hospitals List

Hartford, Conn (March 12, 2026) – All Three of Trinity Health Of New England’s acute care hospitals in Connecticut have been recognized as leaders in patient care, earning spots on Castle Connolly’s 2026 Top Hospitals list.

Johnson Memorial Hospital

  • State Top Hospital for General Surgery and Hernia Repair

Saint Mary's Hospital

  • National Top Hospital for ObGyn Surgery and C-Section

Castle Connolly Top Hospitals recognizes the nation's leading health care institutions. The 2026 list includes 1,663 Top Hospitals, selected from over 6,000 hospitals nationwide. These hospitals were evaluated for their overall excellence, as well as their performance in six specialties and nineteen procedures
