U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Saint Francis Hospital and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital on 2026-27 Best Hospitals List
HARTFORD, Conn. (August 4, 2026) – Saint Francis Hospital has once again been named by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Regional Hospital, marking the 14th consecutive year Saint Francis has earned a spot on the list. For the first time, Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital was recognized as a High Performing rehabilitation hospital as part of four new regional specialty rankings for 2026-27.
Saint Francis was recognized as a High Performing hospital for its care in the following specialties: Aortic Aneurysm Repair; Colon Cancer Surgery; Heart Attack; Hip Replacement; Knee Replacement; Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma; Maternity Care; Pacemaker Implantation; and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals’ performance on objective measures such as risk adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications, and level of nursing care. The Best Hospitals Procedures and Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
