2020 Eversource Hartford Marathon & Half Marathon Kicks Off with Socially Distanced Fun Run and Interactive Online Program
The Hartford Marathon Foundation (HMF) will host Step One of the Eversource Hartford Marathon on Saturday, September 26, in East Hartford to kick-off its large-scale community movement this October. HMF is also launching a first-ever interactive online event hub called RUNetwork to connect the community in the weeks leading up to the signature annual marathon event. RUNetwork will deliver insightful and inspiring discussions with national experts and local voices, connect participants with industry resources and provide tips for race prep and an expo of gear and goods.

CT Business Matchmaker will give a boost to small businesses as they recover from COVID-19 downturn
The COVID-19 pandemic and the associated shutdown have meant lost sales and financial hardship for small businesses, and they have made face-to-face networking nearly impossible. The combination has left many of those businesses in a tenuous situation—unable to sell to current customers and unable to look for new ones. The University of Hartford’s Entrepreneurial Center & Women’s Business Center’s 11th Annual CT Business Matchmaker is designed to help address that problem. This year, the event will be held in a virtual format on Friday, October 2, from 8:00AM until 2:30PM.
