seedership announced today that Infoshred LLC has selected its community storytelling platform to track and visualize all their charitable contributions. Having one aggregated view of all the time, things and money they donate – as well as the organizations and causes they support – will help Infoshred make giving more intentional and highlight their positive impact to share with clients.

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, the community foundation for 29 cities and towns in Greater Hartford, awarded more than $52.7 million in grants to the region’s nonprofit agencies in 2020.

Chrysalis Center invites the community to “Come Together to End Hunger” at this year’s Empty Bowls event to be held virtually on Wednesday, March 24th at 7:00pm. This annual event, which raises much needed awareness around food insecurities in our community, will be held virtually, with guests receiving a private link to the event. Guests will enjoy delicious homemade soup, provided by La Cocina Catering, which will be available for pick up prior to event.Due to COVID-19, Chrysalis Center has experienced an increase in the need for fresh and nutritious food and event proceeds will benefit the organization’s “Food Hub”: programs which address the critical issue of food insecurity and lack of fresh and nutritious foods in the community through innovative and hands-on approaches. Chrysalis’ Food Hub includes: Freshplace food pantry, Urban Roots hydroponic grow center, Homestead Farmers’ Market, Railway Gardens, Food Forest and La Cocina Catering and Culinary Arts Training Kitchen.
