Leadership Greater Hartford and East Hartford Public Library Launch Free Leadership Workshop Series
Five-part series at Raymond Library will provide accessible leadership development opportunities for the Greater Hartford community
East Hartford, CT — Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH), in partnership with the East Hartford Public Library, is launching a free, five-part Leadership Workshop Series designed to help individuals strengthen their leadership skills, build confidence, improve communication, and increase their impact in the workplace and community.
Beginning Wednesday, September 16, the series will be held at Raymond Library in East Hartford and is open to emerging leaders, seasoned professionals, community members, and anyone interested in personal and professional growth.

The five-part series will explore a range of topics that are essential to effective leadership:
Leadership Foundations: Self-Awareness, Values, and Purpose
Wednesday, September 16 | 6:00 p.m.
Participants will explore their personal values, identify what drives them as leaders, and learn how self awareness and purpose can strengthen their impact.
Understanding Others: Leadership Styles and Communication
Wednesday, September 30 | 6:00 p.m.
Participants will explore different leadership and communication styles and learn how adapting their approach can strengthen collaboration and connection.
Brave Conversations: From Conflict to Connection
Wednesday, October 14 | 6:00 p.m.
This session will provide practical tools for navigating difficult conversations, listening with curiosity, and approaching disagreement as an opportunity for greater understanding.
Working with Imposter Syndrome and Building Confidence
Wednesday, October 28 | 6:00 p.m.
Participants will identify their strengths, recognize the value of their experiences and perspectives, and develop greater confidence in using their voices as leaders.
Bridging Perspectives in a Diverse and Global Community
Wednesday, November 18 | 6:00 p.m.
The final workshop will focus on connecting across differences, practicing cultural humility, engaging respectfully with diverse perspectives, and identifying shared values.
Participants may register for one or more individual workshops or complete all five sessions to earn an LGH Certificate of Completion. There is no cost to participate.
Each workshop requires a separate registration. Those interested in completing the entire series must register individually for all five sessions.
