Special Holiday Corporate Engagement Opportunity Through The Village

Giving campaign and heartwarming events available to inspire staff.

Hartford, Conn. With the holidays just around the corner, The Village for Families & Children invites companies to step into the spirit of giving by joining its Holiday Giving Tree initiative — a meaningful way to engage staff, spread holiday cheer and give families in need a sense of hope.

Every holiday season, hundreds of families served by The Village face an impossible choice: covering basic needs, like food and rent, or purchasing gifts for their children. The Holiday Giving Tree program helps ease this burden by providing gift cards that allow families to choose gifts and put food on the table so that they can truly enjoy the season together.

By participating in the Holiday Giving Tree, businesses will see firsthand the impact of their generosity. The Village offers unique engagement opportunities for participating companies, including tours of its historic campus and visits from Village staff to share impact stories and informative Lunch & Learns focused on community issues.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of local corporations and community donors, the program raised more than $50,000 and ensured that thousands of children had gifts to open during the holidays. This year, The Village hopes to make an even greater impact.

Companies interested in participating can contact Village Senior Director of Development Sarah Adanti at sadanti@thevillage.org or (860) 297-0545. Learn about the Holiday Giving Tree program at thevillage.org/holiday.
