Winterfest Hartford Press Conference Kicks Off 15th Season of Ice Skating

(November 25, 2025) Winterfest Hartford is proudly celebrating its 15th year of offering free ice skating and free skate rentals to thousands of families across Hartford and the Greater Hartford region. During Monday’s press conference, the Mayor of Hartford, the iQuilt Partnership Board Chair, the Connecticut Chief Marketing Officer, representatives from M&T Bank, and the Eversource Vice President of Community Partnerships and Engagement all expressed their enthusiasm for another successful Winterfest season.

Speakers emphasized that Winterfest is more than just ice skating; it is a vital community space that brings people together and provides joyful, family-friendly experiences throughout the winter months. In addition to skating, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including free photos with Santa and a full slate of festive activation events designed to engage residents and visitors alike.
