Vote for Bradley International Airport as one of the Best Airports in the U.S.
Windsor Locks, CONN – April 14, 2026 – Voting is now underway for Condé Nast Traveler’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards poll and Bradley International Airport (BDL) is once again in the running to be named as a “Top 10 Best Airport in the U.S.”
Passengers can vote for BDL by visiting cntraveler.com/vote. Once on the site, simply choose “airports” and then select “Bradley International Airport (BDL)” from the list of nominees. Participants will then be asked to take a brief survey where they will rate BDL on its design, layout, food, shopping, accessibility and more.
“We invite our passenger community to vote for Bradley International Airport in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice survey,” said Michael W. Shea, Executive Director & CEO of the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA). “This type of recognition puts our home airport in the national spotlight in a meaningful way. It also reinforces the CAA’s ongoing commitment to convenience, passenger satisfaction, modernization of the terminal, and to growing our list of amenities and nonstop destinations.”
Enhancements and Expansion at BDL
This year’s voting comes as BDL marks the completion of several major expansion projects which enhance the flow and functionality of the terminal for passengers. Some of those enhancements include:
Two new exit corridors on both sides of the terminal, providing faster and more direct access to baggage claim, rental cars, ground transportation, and shuttles.
New concourse space with three gates, comfortable and varied seating options with access to integrated power, new dining and retail, and modern restrooms.
Inline baggage screening facility to screen checked bags, which means passengers no longer need to bring their bags to the scanners after airline check in.
Expanded security checkpoint with additional screening lanes and queuing space for passengers waiting to be screened.
Parking guidance system in parking garage that displays the number of available spaces on each level, down each row, and lighting that helps drivers identify available parking faster.
Newly renovated Escape Lounge with increased seating capacity, expanded hours, and a more robust food and beverage menu for passengers due to the expansion of the lounge’s kitchen and bar.
Voting for the Readers’ Choice Awards is open until June 30, 2026, and only takes a few minutes to complete. The winners will be announced this fall. Individuals who vote can also enter to win a vacation courtesy of Condé Nast Traveler.
